This policy describes the practices of Centre HUMAMI, a division of Cintech agroalimentaire, and of HUMAMI Opinion (its taster recruitment site) regarding confidentiality and protection of personal information.

Because it is confidential, this information cannot be disclosed without the consent of the individual concerned. This policy applies to the protection of the personal information of clients, business partners, users of our two websites, tasters registered in the judges' database, and study participants.

We receive, collect, and store any information you enter on our website or provide to us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet Protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; computer and connection information. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to navigate away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (on the humamiopinion.ca website) when new tasters register.

When you contact us for information (centrehumami.ca) or to become a taster (humamiopinion.ca), we collect the personal information you provide, such as your name, email address, age, gender, and more. This information will only be used for the specific reasons mentioned below.

• Knowing our visitor's entry page ; 

• To provide our users with ongoing assistance and technical assistance ;

• Understanding the profiles of tasters when they register ;

HOW DO WE HANDLE THE INFORMATION COLLECTED (STORAGE, CONFIDENTIALITY)

Centrehumami.ca is hosted on the Wix.com platform. This online platform allows us to offer services to businesses. Your data may be stored through Wix.com's databases and general applications. They store data on secure servers behind a firewall. For humamiopinion.ca's data, the registration form sends all responses to a server connected to Microsoft Office 365. Furthermore, once tasters are registered, their personal data is compiled in the cloud on a secure SharePoint server.

No data is sold or rented to any third party for purposes other than those for which you consent.

 

ABOUT CONSENT  

When you visit our websites, at the beginning of your browsing session, you have the option to consent to or decline the use of cookies that will collect personal information. On our website, humamiopinion.ca, the data collected from the registration form to become a taster is gathered on a voluntary and consented basis. Subsequently, to participate in a study, you must also provide your consent. No data will be used without it. GATHERING INFORMATION FROM CHILDREN

When we collect information from children aged 16 and under, we must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. When children aged 16 and under are asked to participate in a study, we must also obtain the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

If you wish, you can request access to the personal information we hold about you in order to verify its accuracy, update it, or request its removal from our database.
